OKLAHOMA CITY ZOO MAKES HISTORY, REACHES ONE MILLION MARK
It’s not a mystery who made history. Today, June 25, 2014, at 12:30 p.m., the millionth guest came through the Zoo’s turnstiles setting a record for the Zoo during a fiscal year and during its 110th birthday year. Megan Tracy, and her two sons, Caden, 6, and Cason, 3, drove two hours from Hobart and became the Zoo’s “one in a million.” They received a surprise safari adventure worth a million good memories from the Zoo and Oklahoma Zoological Society, including a 5-year, ZooFriends’ membership, a Behind the Scenes tour, a $100 Zoo gift card and fun Zoo memorabilia.
