I had my first experience at a Softball championship game over the weekend and what surprised me the most was how passionate the fans are. If they weren't sporting a "Jennie Finch" jersey, they had on their USA shirts in support of the World Cup of Softball.

It was also bittersweet as we won the last night against Japan giving USA the Gold title! At the same time that we celebrated our victory, we said goodbye to one of the most memorable players in ASA Softball history. Jennie Finch left her cleats at the bases as she retired a ten-year career at one of the best districts in the state, the Oklahoma City Adventure District.
