Posted by Lacey on 09/02/2010

OKLAHOMA CITY – In its sixth year, Oklahoma City’s Adventure District Teachers’ Sneak Peek invites Oklahoma teachers and principals to browse affordable resources for their students and classrooms at participating locations around the District. This year’s Teachers’ Sneak Peek is 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 28, and invites Kindergarten through 12th grade teachers to explore multidisciplinary educational opportunities at some of Oklahoma City’s top visitor attractions.

During this interactive come-and-go event, schoolteachers and principals will preview unique educational programs and receive valuable resources for their classrooms. Teachers will also meet education staff members of the four participating locations including the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City Zoo, Remington Park and National Softball Hall of Fame.

Teachers are encouraged to visit all four participating locations to be eligible to win grand prizes such as free field trips, museum memberships, suite packages and more.

Refreshments will be provided at the participating locations as well as free supplies for teachers’ classrooms and their students. Donations are provided by Target, Mardel, Frontier Country Marketing Association and our member attractions.

With four unique attractions located at the crossroads of I-35 and I-44, Oklahoma City’s Adventure District is one of Oklahoma’s most popular tourist and field trip destinations, attracting more than 3 million visitors each year.
