Adventure District attractions offer special discounts in honor of Veteran’s Day

OKLAHOMA CITY – Veterans looking for a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate Veteran’s Day will find plenty of options next week in Oklahoma City’s Adventure District.

Monday, Nov. 9, veterans will receive free admission to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. All active duty, active reserve, Ready Reserve Service members, National Guardsman, Coalition Forces members and retirees, any prior military, American Legion members and VFW members are eligible for free admission. Military guests may bring up to five guests free of charge during regular Museum hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proof of military ID in one of these categories or DD214 is required.

Military guests showing valid photo ID at Remington Park Wednesday, Nov. 11 will receive $10 in Lucky Dough free play all day in the Remington Park Casino.
 
All active and inactive service men and women of the armed forces and National Guard, plus up to five guests are invited to enjoy free admission from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Proof of service is required for admission. A 10 percent discount will also be available on purchases at the Safari Gift Shop and Canopy Restaurant.
 
Located at the crossroads of I-35 and I-44 in Oklahoma City, the Adventure District is home to six member attractions including Cinemark Tinseltown USA Theater, Oklahoma City Zoo, Remington Park Racing Casino, Oklahoma State Firefighters Museum, National Softball Hall of Fame and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
