Celebrate Independence Day in Oklahoma City's Adventure District
OKLAHOMA CITY – Celebrate America’s independence this Fourth of July in Oklahoma City’s Adventure District.
Located at the crossroads of I-35 and I-44 in northeast Oklahoma City, the Adventure District is home to six of the most outstanding tourist attractions in Oklahoma within only two miles.
Celebrate America’s birthday by heading over to Remington Park Racing Casino. All military will receive a free $10 in Lucky Dough to play in the Remington Park Casino.
Salute the red, white and blue at the ASA National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum, home of the USA Women’s Softball team. Inside the museum, learn about one of America’s most popular team sports. Find all-American heroes at the Oklahoma State Firefighters Museum. On display are vintage fire trucks, fireman gear and the first fire station built in Oklahoma Territory in 1869. Just outside the museum is the Memorial dedicated to Oklahoma’s bravest men.
As American as hot dogs and apple pie, enjoy a picnic with the family at the Oklahoma City Zoo, one of America’s top zoological parks and ranked the third-most family-friendly Zoo in the nation.
Looking for a cool Independence Day experience? Catch one of Hollywood’s newest movies where the stars are hot, but the theatres are cool at Cinemark Tinseltown USA Theatre. While you’re there, grab a bite to eat from Tinseltown’s own Studio Eats restaurant.
