<p><strong>Oklahoma City, April 2, 2012: </strong>April in the Adventure District
holds enough fun for everyone. With such a variety of options there is fun to
be had at every corner.</p>
<p><strong>ASA Softball Complex and Hall of Fame Museum:</strong> April starts with the completion
of the ASA Spring Challenge, March 30 &ndash; April 1 and the Special Olympics
National Invitational April 4. The High School Slow Pitch Classic, April 13 &ndash;
14, will definitely showcase some outstanding area athletes. April 20 &ndash; 22, ASA
Combat Capital City Classic closes out the month for the ASA Softball Complex
and Hall of Fame Museum.</p>
<p><strong>National Cowboy &amp; Western Heritage Museum: </strong>Bank of America Museums on Us
Weekend, April 7 -8 and Easter Brunch start of an exciting month at the Cowboy.
The 50th Anniversary of Jingle-Jangle Mingle and Western Heritage Awards
Banquet, April 20 &ndash; 21, are the highlight of the month for the National Cowboy
&amp; Western Heritage Museum. </p>
<p><strong>OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden:</strong> A hopping good time will be had by
all at the OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden during the month of April with the
HOPabaloo Brunch with the Easter Bunny April 8, Read Across Oklahoma, April 10
and Smile Safari, April 14. April 15, join the Zoo for Malee&rsquo;s One Year
Birthday Bash. Science Fest, April 19 and Party for the Planet, April 22, close
the exciting month for the OK&Ccedil; Zoo and Botanical Garden.</p>
<p><strong>Remington Park:</strong> Extreme events are headed to Remington Park. Live Quarter
Horse racing continues at Remington Park every Thursday through Sunday. April
14 brings the Remington Park Futurity with over $1.2 Million in race purses.
Every Wednesday in April join in the Pick Your Team Gaming Tournaments at the
Remington Park Casino and Saturdays Fill Your Tank with The Club Remington
Card. Extreme Racing featuring Camels and Ostriches, April 22, will end the
month of April at Remington Park.</p>

District<br />March Happenings</strong> </p>
<p><strong>Oklahoma City, March 1, 2012: </strong>&ldquo;Spring is nature&rsquo;s way of saying,
&ldquo;Let&rsquo;s Party!&rdquo; &ndash; Robin Williams. Live racing; animal feedings, youth art camps
and softball players are the Adventure District's way of saying "Let's
Party!" </p>
<p><strong>ASA Softball Complex and Hall of Fame Museum:</strong> ASA Spring Challenge Tournament
starts the month of April for the Softball Complex and Hall of Fame Museum,
followed by the Special Olympics National Invitational, April 4. High School
Slow Pitch Classic will definitely bring out a crowd, April 13 &ndash; 14. And the
ASA Combat Capital City Classic, April 20 &ndash; 22, adult softball will round out
the month of April for softball at the ASA Softball Complex.</p>
<p><strong>National Cowboy &amp; Western Heritage Museum: </strong>The month of March is packed with
hands on art at the National Cowboy &amp; Western Heritage Museum. From Native
American Art Demonstrations to a spring break youth camp (March 19-22) there
will be plenty of &ldquo;artists&rdquo; in the District. </p>
<p><strong>OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden:</strong> Voted one of the nations top three
zoos, the OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden is ready for spring. Starting March 19,
animal feedings and the Sea Lion Shows begin, and Animal and Pet Enrichment Day
will be held March 31.</p>
<p><strong>Remington Park:</strong> The return of the world&rsquo;s fastest athletes to Remington
Park is here.&nbsp; Adrenawin Weekend is
set for opening weekend of the Quarter Horse season, March 2-4. Cash drawings,
wagering sprees, Remington Park t-shirt giveaway and actor Hollywood Extra,
&ldquo;Joey&rdquo; in the movie <em>War Horse</em> will help start the quarter horse season. Enjoy live
racing at Remington Park every Thursday &ndash; Sunday through May. </p>

<p><strong>Oklahoma City, Feb. 1, 2012: </strong>OKC&rsquo;s Adventure District leaps into
lovely February.<strong> </strong>Celebrating
your birthday every four years or spending Valentine Day with the one you love
in the Adventure District will surely provide years worth of memories!</p>
<p><strong>ASA Softball Complex and Hall of Fame Museum:</strong> Get ready for 88 days of softball
fun starting in March. ASA Hall of Fame Museum and Gift Shop are spending the
next few months renovating in preparation for the spring softball season. The
Preview featuring OU, OSU, LSU, and IA will kick off the 2012 Hall of Fame
Stadium events March 2-4.</p>
<p><strong>National Cowboy &amp; Western Heritage Museum: </strong>The short month of February is
packed with excitement at &ldquo;The Cowboy.&rdquo; Opening Reception for two new exhibits,
&ldquo;Pueblo to Pueblo,&rdquo; and &ldquo;The Sun and His Wife,&rdquo; Feb. 2 begins the exciting month.
Bank of America Museums on Us Weekend, Feb. 4 &ndash; 5; Saturday&rsquo;s for Kids &ndash; The
Buffalo Soldiers, Feb. 4; Valentine&rsquo;s Day Dinner and Dance, Feb. 14; Tuesday at
Sundown - Marketing the Southwest: The Fred Harvey Company Promotes Native
American Art, Feb. 21; and An Evening with Baxter Black, Feb. 24 fills the
exciting month.</p>
<p><strong>OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden:</strong> The month of February is filled
with tradition and fun at the OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden. The zoo&rsquo;s grizzly
bear brothers, Will and Wiley, standing in as groundhog delegates, will start
the month off with the Groundhog Day Tradition at the Zoo, Feb. 2.&nbsp; The Animal Adoption Special, the month
of February; Volunteer Recruitment, Feb. 4; Safari Day Camp, Feb. 20; Home
school Day, Feb. 24; and the Dr. Pepper Vending Machine Art Contest, Feb. 20 &ndash;
March 31; will fill the month. The new Amphibian Exhibit will open to end the
month for the zoo, and remember Monday&rsquo;s are FREE through the month of
February.</p>
<p><strong>Remington Park:</strong> Athletes returning to Remington can only mean one thing;
racing seasons is close. Waiting through the short month of February will not
hard with Pick Your Team Gaming Tournament, Feb.5; Valen-Times Two, Feb. 11 and
14; Rumble at Remington Live Pro Boxing, Feb. 18; and President&rsquo;s Day, Feb. 20
will help make the wait bearable.</p>

Softball to start? While you wait for March, stop by the National Softball Hall
of Fame Museum to help inspire you for the upcoming season and visit the gift shop for all your
Team USA Softball Apparel while you are there. </p>
<p><strong>National
Cowboy &amp; Western Heritage Museum:</strong> It may be cool outside, but you can spend all day
inside discovering at the National Cowboy &amp; Western Heritage Museum. Stop
by Jan. 7-8 and show your Bank of America ATM, credit or check card and receive
free admission during the Bank of America Museums on Us Weekend. For the
&ldquo;buckaroos,&rdquo; free kids activity Jan. 7 and make sure to visit the &ldquo;Ghost Ranch
and the Far Away Nearby,&rdquo; and the TCAA Exhibit and Sale before they end Jan.
8.&nbsp; And come back Jan. 25 to see
the new &ldquo;Pueblo to Pueblo: The Legacy of Southwest Indian Pottery,&rdquo; exhibit. </p>

Zoo and Botanical Garden:</strong> With the Oklahoma weather always changing you never
know who will be out and about at the OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden. With free
admission every Monday through February you can enjoy the winter greenery and
try to catch a glimpse of Rex the new Asian bull elephant. </p>

Park:</strong>
After an exciting day exploring the OKC&rsquo;s Adventure District stop by Remington
Park and try your luck in the casino and enter to win a 2012 Buick Regal. With

<p>OKLAHOMA CITY&ndash; As the leaves turn and the temperatures cool,
those of all ages can fall into fun at Oklahoma City&rsquo;s Adventure District.</p>
<p>&nbsp;With four unique attractions located at the crossroads of
I-35 and I-44, Oklahoma City&rsquo;s Adventure District is one of the most popular
entertainment areas in the state with more than 3 million people annually.</p>
<p>Ghosts, goblins and gorillas come together for the annual
Haunt the Zoo October 26-31 at the Oklahoma City Zoo. One of the state&rsquo;s
largest Halloween celebrations comes alive from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night
with friendly mascot characters to greet children as
they arrive. Trick-or-treaters can collect goodies at a variety of
themed booths in the midst of hundreds of jack-o-lanterns. Admission per child
is $7 at the gate or $6 in advance and free for adults. Haunt the Zoo is rain
or shine.</p>
<p>Experience the thrill of live horse racing at Remington Park
Racetrack and Casino with the 67-day thoroughbred season. Racing takes place
each Wednesday through Saturday until Dec. 11. The 22nd annual Oklahoma Derby
will be held on Sunday, Oct. 10 with events including a hat contest, live
music, and tons of activities for the children with extreme animals, Orr family
train, inflatables, a mechanical Bull, and much more.&nbsp; The days leading up to the Oklahoma Derby will include the
Community Expo with booths for visitors to experience on Friday, Oct. 8 as well
as the National Cowboy &amp; Western Heritage Museum&rsquo;s Oklahoma Derby Week Hat
Gala benefiting the Museum on Thursday, Oct. 7 at Remington Park. The event
will have a special reception, dinner and program featuring Hall of Fame Jockey
Chris McCarron as the guest speaker. Reservations are required.</p>
<p>&nbsp;National Cowboy
&amp; Western Heritage Museum is showing the West in a whole new way with Taste
Napa Valley October 14 in the Museum&rsquo;s Sam Noble Special Events Center.
Vineyards from the West coast come to Oklahoma in the form of some of the
finest wines on the planet. This fundraiser for the Museum will feature nearly
three dozen Napa Valley wineries accompanied by foods from local chefs.
Visitors will be able to meet the people behind the Napa Valley wines as well
as participate in a silent auction. Tickets are $85 per person and may be
purchased online or by phone at 478-2250.</p>
<p>Those ready to hoot and holler will enjoy a night out at the
ASA National Softball Hall of Fame for the 2010 Hooters slow pitch championship
series presented by Worth October 1 and 2. Watch men and women compete for the
national title. Come back October 7-9 because the OSSAA Class B-4A State Fast
Pitch championship will showcase some of the best high school softball players.
The OSSAA 5A-6A Fast Pitch State Championship is October 14-16.</p>
