Plan a Valentine Adventure in Oklahoma City's Adventure District
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahomans looking for a one of a kind way to delight
their Valentines will find an abundance of options in Oklahoma City’s
Adventure District.
Throughout the month of February, visitors to Remington Park Racing Casino
will win diamond jewelry during “Ice is Nice” drawings. On Valentine’s
Day visitors may participate in special hot seat drawings from 1 to 5
p.m. for the chance to win boxes of chocolate with mystery amounts of
cash inside.
The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
sets a romantic mood on Thursday, Feb. 14, during its annual
Valentine’s Dinner and Dance. From 6 to 9 p.m., couples will enjoy an
elegant buffet dinner hosted by the museum’s Dining on Persimmon Hill
restaurant followed by a night of dancing in the Sam Noble Special
Events Center.
Oklahoma City Zoo residents will
receive Valentine gifts made with love by their keepers on Saturday,
Feb. 16 during the Valentine’s Day Zoo Safari. Visitors will see
animals snack on edible enrichments items from noon through 3 p.m.
The County Line Bar-B-Q and Cinemark Tinseltown USA Theatre
offer a traditional date night. The County Line features award-winning
barbecue in a colorful atmosphere and Cinemark Tinseltown provides the
latest new release movies in its 20 stadium-seating theaters.
Located at the crossroads of I-35 and I-44 in Oklahoma City, the
Adventure District is home to Cinemark Tinseltown USA Theater, Oklahoma
City Zoo and Botanical Garden, Remington Park Racing Casino, Oklahoma
State Firefighters Museum, National Softball Hall of Fame Complex,
National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and Science Museum
