Zoo Amp for more than 75 years has been a mecca for musicians and music lovers alike. More than 1 million fans, lawn chairs and blankets in hand, have snuggled into the green hillside venue carved out of ancient red sandstone. Some of the greatest names in the world of music – from Marvin Gaye to Willie Nelson, Chicago to ZZ Top – have graced the Zoo Amp stage amid the towering blackjack oak trees.
Adjacent to the OKC Zoo, widely recognized among the nation’s preeminent zoological facilities, the Zoo Amphitheatre remains one of Oklahoma City’s most enduring and unique attractions. 3HORSE Productions, LLC recognizes the history and heritage of this distinctive venue and is committed to caring for it and further developing the venue as the centerpiece of the burgeoning entertainment district being created in northeast Oklahoma City.
The Zoo Amp is indeed a ‘Whole New Animal.” As the new tenant/caretaker of this historic and iconic facility, 3HORSE Productions, as we promised in our contract with the Zoo Trust, has invested roughly $100,000 in the Amphitheatre in areas such as:
  • stage repairs
  • painting the facility
  • major enhancements to the restrooms
  • renovations of both concession buildings, including greatly improved kitchens to allow enhanced product offerings enhancement of electrical capacity to allow for larger acts
  • improvement of video capabilities
3HORSE Productions is committed to maintaining the facility and its grounds to a standard the Zoo Trust expects and one for which the community will be proud.

ZOOBLOOMS ZOOBLOOMS at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden, the state's largest tulip festival. Get ready for a floral phenomenon as thousands of tulips spring up throughout the Zoo! ZOOBLOOMS will be open through April 31. This event is free with Zoo admission.
