The best Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa racing is back with the start of the 2019 season at Remington Park. Join us for stakes racing, important trials and extra cash in our Win, Place, Show Me The Money game.
The $68,000 Mighty Deck Three Stakes is the richest race of the weekend and will be contested on Friday night.
Throughout the weekend, qualifying trials will be conducted to determine the fields for the historic 78th running of the Oklahoma Futurity, the longest running futurity in Quarter Horse racing.
Other trials during opening weekend include: – Oklahoma Derby trials – Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa trials – Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity trials The first race on Friday and Saturday night, March 8 and 9, is at 6pm. Sunday afternoon racing on March 10 begins at 1:30pm.
Oklahoma City Zoo’s spring break camps will introduce your child to a new world of wonder, fun and excitement. Campers will explore the legends and lore behind some of nature’s animals and plants with the week’s theme, “Mysteries of Mythical Creatures”.
Daily activities include Zoo tours, up-close animal visits, crafts, and games. Snacks provided, but campers must bring their lunch. Ages 4-11 welcome.
Advanced registration and payment required. All campers are required to bring a copy of their immunizations. Camp runs 8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Drop-off at Education Center from 8-8:30 a.m. Cost per child per day is $45.

Head to SMO in March for Spring Break Camp! Camps are available for children from pre-K to sixth grade and rates include both days of camp.
>> What are the camp hours? Pre-K and kindergarten camps are from 9 a.m. to noon, and camps for grades 1-3 and 4-6 are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drop off begins at 8:45 a.m.

>> When does registration close? One week before the first day of each camp or when full. Camps are limited to 15 children per age group, per session.

> Early Explorers (Pre-K + Kindergarten): Wild World 9 a.m. to noon $100 per child for members, $125 for nonmembers
> Explorers (Grades 1-3): The Science of Super 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. $225 per child for members, $250 for nonmembers
> Innovators (Grades 4-6): Delicious and Disgusting 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. $225 per child for members, $250 for nonmembers
