Born into the Pawnee Nation in 1922, Brummett Echohawk was strongly influenced by his tribal heritage and family traditions. He served honorably in WWII, developed his gift as an artist in a variety of fields and successfully pursued acting, writing and public speaking. Echohawk’s diverse achievements provided significant contributions both to the world of art and the historical record. Hear from Kristen M.
