ABOUT THE EVENT

Help the OKC Zoo go above and beyond for endangered species! We are inviting guests to partake in our celebration of Endangered Species Day on Saturday, May 20. Presented locally by Bob Moore Subaru, this Endangered Species Day celebration will be held throughout the OKC Zoo from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the endangered species we care for, participate in family-friendly activities, caretaker chats, event-themed photo opportunities hosted by Bob Moore Subaru and more, all included with regular Zoo admission.
In honor of Endangered Species Day, the Zoo is excited to offer rides its one-of-a-kind Endangered Species Carousel for the special price of $1 per person from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All proceeds from carousel rides on this day will support the Zoo’s Round Up for Conservation program. The OKC Zoo will also have its exclusive conservation wristbands featuring a variety of endangered animals available for purchase during the event. Cost per wristband is $2 and all proceeds support the Zoo’s conservation efforts.
Wildlife fans are also encouraged to tune in to Facebook on Endangered Species Day for special Facebook live chats with our expert caretakers throughout the day.
