ABOUT THE EVENT

This International Tiger Day, the Oklahoma City Zoo and Bob Moore Subaru are coming together to raise awareness for these magnificent yet endangered big cats in a big way. Join the OKC Zoo on Saturday, July 29 for this annual celebration dedicated to raising awareness for tiger and habitat conservation, and learn how the OKC Zoo, along with your support, can help protect them. Family-friendly activities are planned from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Zoo’s Cat Forest including informational and educational displays, caretaker chats and a themed photo booth presented by Bob Moore Subaru. In addition, the Zoo is hosting a first birthday event for Sumatran tiger twins, Luna and Bob, born on July 2, 2022, to mom, Lola. Carnivore caretakers are planning to provide Luna, Bob and Lola with a variety of enrichment treats and items at 10:15 a.m. in their outdoor habitat to mark this special occasion. That’s not all! On July 29, OKC Zoo and OETA will host Daniel Tiger at the Zoo, Love’s Pachyderm, from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and fans will have chance to get their photo taken with this beloved character. All event activities are free with regular admission.
